I want to tell you a story, which represents our real identity. It all started in the mid-Sixties from my mother’s creativity, Anna Maria Scolz, and from my father, Piero Caneva, who joined this adventure afterwards. It’s a friendship which will last a whole life, with a peculiar feature: in my mother’s mind the sophistication, the attention to the details, the quality and the product’s craftmanship, whatever it is, are essential traits; while my father will make sure that all this can also be achieved and it will be a gesture of love towards her.

Like a sign that, step by step, marks the way to follow a dream made of values, born to give life to a product.

A product is born from an idea, but an idea can’t be realized without a group of people who share the same values. First of all, it’s important to consider respect for people, their necessities and their times. ANNAMARIA is a company composed by WOMEN FOR WOMEN, where the female member has always been precious and dominant. Respect for balance is essential to satisfy those needs which put family and children first. It’s nice to know that the time schedule is flexible and the pleasantly moments are experienced every day, from coffee breaks to lunch together. Moreover, the working environment is clean and comfortable, fresh in summer and warm in winter. To ensure this comfort and the energy consumption we need, we can count, from the 1st of January 2024, on a 50 KW photovoltaic system located on the roof of our factory, to leave our well-kept garden unaltered, and on two energy distributors for electric cars.

Sustainability is another aspect we care about a lot, because we don’t only subdivide the waste of our fabrics, donating the most usable ones to non-profit organizations and associations, but also we are happy to know that our children will be able to live in a more sustainable environment. The trees in our company garden, which we planted in 1986, are strong and flourishing: a beautiful example of biodiversity.

As a matter of fact, in each season, the trees host a varied and well-adapted fauna.

The environment we try to give to those who live with us every day doesn’t only serve to make work more enjoyable, but it also helps to create the real identity of our product, because we don’t just create our own collections, but we design and create yours. We think that our customer’s satisfaction is the most important thing and our graphic office knows it well, in fact it continuously designs new ideas and customized “tailor-made” collections. Finally, a product made with love has a different value. In fact, as we have already had the opportunity to underline, “From 1965 in Annamaria each article is packaged one by one, never mass-produced and we always cut it by hand, also customized and, moreover, just one, yours”.
